Martindale is the Trooper assigned to Troop F in Middletown who died unexpectedly on July 24th. from injuries he sustained after responding to a small plane crash in 2011. He served in the U.S. Army for 18 years and was deployed during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
